About CAPN:
The mission of the Community Advanced Practice Nurses (CAPN) is to strengthen the lives of persons who are medically underserved and to help interrupt the cycle of poverty and homelessness for these individuals. Healthy independence is promoted through health care delivered with acceptance, compassion, and sensitivity to an individual's life circumstances.
CAPN's board is both functional and representative. We seek board members with the skills and knowledge to provide oversight and to assist in identifying and helping meet the strategic priorities of the organization. We also seek board members that reflect the diversity of the patients we serve.
CAPN is looking for Board Members who have the following experience/background:
We are especially interested in applications from candidates who work and reside in the metro or greater Atlanta area.
Current Size: 11 Members
Tenure: Organization founded in 1998
Annual Financial Contribution: Yes – Unspecified + additional fundraising requirements
Term: 3 Years
Meeting Schedule: Quarterly (4 per year) + Committee meetings
Committees: Finance, Fundraising, Nominating, Strategic Planning
