Who We Are

Community Advanced Practice Nurses (CAPN) is a unique non-profit organization whose professionals provide free-of-charge health care services to Atlanta’s homeless and economically disadvantaged population.

CAPN’s health care professionals work to strengthen the lives of people who are medically underserved and to help interrupt the cycle of poverty. Focus is given to the care of women, children and youth who are homeless or lacking economic support.

Our Story

At CAPN we strive to make sure that all people in the Atlanta area, particularly women and children, have access to health services. Perhaps more importantly, we ensure that this healthcare is provided in a supportive, understanding, and non-judgmental manner. It is essential to us that clients are able to feel comfortable and safe at the clinic.

All of our services at CAPN come free of charge, though clients may choose to make a donation. We will never turn away any person from getting the care they need regardless of their current situation. In order to sustain this vital mission, we rely on the generosity of our supporters.

To the right you can examine more closely the growing impact that CAPN has had on the community.

In order to help us continue expanding our mission and offer much needed healthcare free of charge, we encourage you to please .
